Banding together for Peaceful Social Justice for all people.

Dear Members of Congress,Despite the Pregnancy Discrimination Act’s requirement that pregnant workers receive equal treatment, the fact is that some employers are still firing pregnant workers for requesting simple, medically-necessary accommodations, like avoiding heavy lifting or being able to take extra water breaks. Nobody should have to choose between a healthy pregnancy and a job, especially at the moment they need it most. The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, which was introduced in Congress with BIPARTISAN support, would make it unmistakable: Employers must provide reasonable accommodations to pregnant workers who need them. Please co-sponsor this important bill and do everything in your power to pass it!I’m counting on your leadership.Sincerely,
